Professional Bio

Mabel is the founder of Spark Joy in MI and the only Certified Master KonMari Consultant in Michigan. Inspired by Marie Kondo’s philosophy, Mabel felt a deep calling to help others create spaces that reflect who they truly are and support how they want to live. Growing up in Hong Kong, where small-space living inspired her love for organization, and through her travels around the world, Mabel developed a global perspective and a genuine curiosity for how people live. She brings that same care and insight to every home and business she organizes, guiding clients to move from overwhelm to clarity and joy. Her faith guides her work, and her strength as a maximizer means she’s always striving for excellence—for herself and for every client she serves. Clients often describe their experience as “life-changing,” gaining not just beautifully organized spaces but a renewed sense of purpose and peace. Mabel loves coffee, traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her family. She also serves on the board of Family Futures, reflecting her commitment to family support and meaningful community impact.
