Melanie Houle is a KonMari Consultant based in Northern New Jersey who helps clients create calm, intentional homes using the KonMari Method®. From a young age, Melanie found herself naturally drawn to tidying—often organizing her surroundings whenever life felt overwhelming or out of balance. Over time, she discovered that creating order in her environment helped bring clarity and peace to her mind. Growing up in a family with generations of women who struggled with hoarding tendencies, Melanie developed a deep understanding of the emotional complexity that can exist around belongings. This personal experience allows her to approach clients with empathy, compassion, and a completely non-judgmental mindset. Through personalized tidying sessions, Melanie guides clients in keeping only what truly sparks joy while creating systems that are practical and sustainable. Her goal is not only to transform physical spaces but also to help clients feel lighter, more confident, and more in control of their homes. Melanie lives with her two dogs—a corgi named River and a lab mix named Milo—who remind her daily that all possessions have a lifespan and squeaky toys rarely last long.
