Professional Bio

Stephanie has a deep understanding of the connection between people and the spaces they inhabit. She is passionate about helping people feel more at home and aligned with their environments. Through the KonMari Method®, she helps people uncover the stories, memories and life journeys held within their belongings and spaces. With many years of experience in interior and house design, textile design and projects across Southeast Asia, Stephanie brings a hands-on, compassionate approach to creating meaningful spaces. She focuses on delivering Tidying Festivals, believing they can inspire lasting change and shift perspectives on life and our surroundings. Based in the Scottish Borders for 26 years, Stephanie’s work in textile design, interiors and innovative materials led her to complete a PhD exploring the relationship between materials, subjective wellbeing and our environments. This research deepened her understanding of how materials and spaces can influence mood, perception and our sense of connection. Drawing on her compassion, empathy, colour research and weaving background, Stephanie supports the hero of the process — the person she is working with.
